Flanges are made of SS 304, 316, 321, and 904L, with Cr (18–20%) and Ni (8–12%) for corrosion resistance. The tensile strength is 500–750 MPa. Certain grades have Mo (2–3%) for chloride resistance as well. Flanges are precision-machined to pressure ratings from Class 150 to 2500 and provide good mechanical strength and sealing performance.
