Composed mostly of SS 304 and 316, stainless steel angles hold 18–20% chromium and 8–12% nickel, which makes them highly corrosion resistant. SS 316 adds molybdenum for additional pitting resistance. The tensile strength is 520–750 MPa and yield strength is approximately 200–300 MPa. The angles have good welding and machining properties and can endure high mechanical stress. The stainless steel composition ensures rust resistance, oxidation protection, and structural integrity in demanding environments, making them suitable for long-term structural use.
