Stainless Steel 418 Bar (Greek Ascoloy) is a heat-resistant martensitic stainless steel alloy that contains about 12% chromium, 2.5–3% nickel, along with carefully controlled amounts of molybdenum and carbon. This unique composition results in outstanding mechanical properties, particularly after heat treatment. It boasts high tensile strength (up to 1000 MPa), impressive toughness, and oxidation resistance at temperatures reaching 650–675°C.
