Stainless Steel 316Ti stud bolts are made in Delhiand India for applications that need high corrosion resistance and stability at elevated temperatures. 316Ti is a titanium-stabilized version of SS 316, providing excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding and long exposure to heat. These bolts are used in power generation, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, and marine engineering industries. Manufactured to ASTM A193 specifications, they come in various thread styles and finishes. 316Ti stud bolts are selected for their strength, corrosion protection in chloride environments, and durability in high-stress mechanical setups, especially where thermal cycling occurs.
SS 316Ti contains 16 to 18% chromium, 10 to 14% nickel, 2 to 3% molybdenum, and titanium content that is at least 5 times the carbon percentage to prevent carbide precipitation. It offers tensile strength of 515 to 620 MPa, yield strength of around 205 MPa, and elongation of 30 to 35%. The titanium improves resistance to high temperatures and corrosion stability during welding or heat treatment. 316Ti maintains performance in chloride and acidic conditions and resists pitting and crevice corrosion. These properties make the alloy suitable for fasteners exposed to temperature variations and corrosive environments.
