Stainless Steel 316Ti sheets and plates are supplied by manufacturers in Dubai and India for tough applications involving heat, corrosion, and pressure. Grade 316Ti is a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel that prevents intergranular corrosion during high-temperature service or after welding. These sheets and plates come in hot-rolled or cold-rolled forms and meet ASTM A240 standards. Ideal for food processing, chemical equipment, heat exchangers, and marine components, they offer excellent formability, strength, and durability. 316Ti’s resistance to oxidation and acidic corrosion ensures long-lasting performance in aggressive and temperature-sensitive settings.
316Ti includes 16 to 18% chromium, 10 to 14% nickel, 2 to 3% molybdenum, and titanium at least 5 times the carbon percentage. It has tensile strength of 515 to 620 MPa, yield strength of around 205 MPa, and elongation of about 30 to 35%. The titanium content stabilizes the alloy against sensitization, improving corrosion resistance during heat exposure. 316Ti maintains strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance in chloride-heavy or acidic conditions. These sheets and plates are non-magnetic, highly weldable, and suitable for heavy-duty structural and chemical processes where consistent mechanical properties are necessary across different temperatures.
