Stainless Steel 316H forged fittings are manufactured in Dubai and India for high-temperature and high-pressure applications that need superior strength and corrosion resistance. Grade 316H is a high-carbon austenitic stainless steel offering better creep resistance and tensile strength, making it suitable for elevated temperatures. Available in socket weld and threaded types, these fittings include elbows, tees, couplings, unions, and plugs made to ASTM A182 standards. SS 316H forged fittings are found in critical industries such as chemical processing, thermal power plants, oil and gas, and marine engineering, ensuring leak-proof, high-integrity connections in demanding piping systems.
Stainless Steel 316H includes 16 to 18% chromium, 10 to 14% nickel, 2 to 3% molybdenum, and higher carbon content at 0.04 to 0.10%. This alloy provides increased tensile strength of 515 to 620 MPa and yield strength up to 275 MPa, with elongation of about 30%. The higher carbon content enhances creep strength at elevated temperatures. 316H offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and oxidation in environments containing chlorides. These mechanical properties make it useful in settings where both pressure and temperature vary significantly, without losing weldability or long-term corrosion performance.
