Stainless Steel 310S coils are produced by top suppliers in India and Dubai for applications requiring high temperature resistance and oxidation. SS 310S is a low-carbon variant of 310 with improved weldability but retaining superior resistance to thermal cycling, scaling, and oxidation to 1100°C. These coils come in cold-rolled and hot-rolled forms and are suitable for application in furnace parts, heat exchangers, kiln liners, and refinery components. Manufactured to ASTM A240 specifications, SS 310S coils have very good formability, structural integrity, and corrosion resistance in intermittent and continuous high-temperature applications.
SS 310S has 24–26% chromium, 19–22% nickel, and ≤0.08% carbon. The composition confers tensile strength of 515–620 MPa, yield strength of approximately 205 MPa, and elongation of approximately 40%. The high chromium and nickel content offers improved oxidation and scaling resistance at high temperatures. The low carbon enhances weldability and resistance to sensitization. SS 310S has structural stability and mechanical properties under thermal stress, which qualifies it for cyclic and continuous thermal exposure.
