Stainless Steel 310 Tubing has approximately 25% chromium and 20% nickel, providing outstanding oxidation resistance and heat stability. It also contains trace amounts of carbon, manganese, silicon, and sulfur for improving strength and processing properties. The alloy shows superior corrosion resistance and scaling and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures. The most significant mechanical properties are tensile strength of 515–700 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and about 40% elongation. Its resistance to very high temperatures and remarkable structural strength render it fit for high temperature service, providing consistent long-term performance in hostile industrial conditions.
