Stainless Steel 310 is an austenitic chromium-nickel alloy that contains around 24–26% chromium and 19–22% nickel, which grants it exceptional oxidation resistance and strength at high temperatures. SS 310 bars provide a tensile strength of approximately 520 MPa and a yield strength of about 205 MPa. This alloy retains excellent mechanical properties even at temperatures up to 1150°C (2100°F) and exhibits good ductility, weldability, and creep resistance. Thanks to its high chromium and nickel content, it offers superior corrosion and scaling resistance in both oxidizing and mildly reducing environments, making it perfect for demanding thermal and chemical applications.
