Stainless Steel 304L stud bolts are made in India and Dubai for bolting tasks which demand strength, corrosion resistance, and superior weldability. SS 304L, the low-carbon form of 304 stainless steel, provides higher resistance to sensitization and is suitable for welded assemblies. These stud bolts are made in accordance with ASTM A193 in full-thread, tap-end, and double-end configurations. Commonly applied in petrochemical, food, and marine applications, 304L stud bolts provide superior performance under mild chemical and atmospheric conditions. They are ideal for use in flange joints and equipment assemblies that are subject to moisture, acid environments, or welding heat.
SS 304L has 18–20% chromium, 8–12% nickel, and up to 0.03% carbon. These bolts provide tensile properties of 485–620 MPa and yield strength of 170–210 MPa, with 35% elongation. Low carbon content avoids welding sensitization and enhances corrosion resistance of welded joints. SS 304L retains mechanical properties from cryogenic to moderate heat environment and provides reliable performance in industrial and corrosive environments. It is readily machined and shaped and is non-magnetic in the annealed state.
