Stainless Steel 304H stud bolts are produced in India and Dubai to meet high-temperature and high-pressure fastening requirements. Being a high-carbon variant of 304 stainless steel, SS 304H offers more strength, creep resistance, and toughness at higher temperatures. These stud bolts are manufactured according to ASTM A193 specifications and come in different threading styles such as full-threaded and double-end types. Stud bolts of SS 304H are used extensively in thermal processing equipment, boilers, and pressure vessels. These stud bolts have great corrosion resistance as well as excellent mechanical properties, providing long-lasting performance in industrial applications where they need to provide structural integrity and heat resistance.
SS 304H has 18–20% chromium, 8–11% nickel, and 0.04–0.10% carbon. SS 304H offers tensile strength in the range of 520–720 MPa, yield strength of approximately 210 MPa, and elongation of about 35%. The higher carbon percentage raises the strength and creep resistance of the material at temperatures above 500°C. SS 304H also maintains its corrosion resistance in mildly oxidizing conditions. These bolts are weldable and machinable using normal practices and possess toughness in a wide operating temperature range, which makes them extremely reliable for heat-intensive industrial applications.
