AWS Class ER347 is an austenitic stainless steel welding wire with chromium (19–21%), nickel (9–11%), and niobium (columbium) for stabilization of carbidesThe alloy avoids intergranular corrosion following welding, particularly in service at high temperatures. The mechanical properties are tensile strength of ≥75 ksi, yield strength ≥55 ksi, and elongation ≥30%.
