309LMo MIG and TIG Filler Wire and Rod are low-carbon austenitic stainless fillers that contain about 23% Chromium, 13% Nickel, and 2.5–3% Molybdenum. The low carbon content (<0.03%) boosts resistance to intergranular corrosion, while molybdenum enhances resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Typical mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 600–650 MPa, a yield strength of around 400 MPa, and an elongation of 30%.
