Stainless Steel 317 sheets and plates are produced in Dubai and India to serve the chemical processing, marine, and industrial sectors that require high corrosion resistance. SS 317 is a molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel with great resistance to chemical attack and pitting in chloride environments. These sheets and plates come in hot-rolled and cold-rolled forms per ASTM A240 standards. Known for excellent weldability, formability, and strength, SS 317 products are available in various thicknesses and sizes, serving fabricators and engineers in harsh operating environments where durability and corrosion resistance are critical.
SS 317 contains 18–20% chromium, 11–15% nickel, 3–4% molybdenum, and carbon ≤0.08%. Molybdenum boosts resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and acidic conditions. It has a tensile strength of 515–620 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of about 35%. The alloy holds excellent corrosion resistance and strength even in chloride-rich environments or with sulfuric acid and other industrial chemicals. Its mechanical performance in stress and corrosive applications makes it a popular choice for sheet and plate products in demanding processing systems.

Stainless Steel 317 Hot Rolled Sheet and Plates provide excellent strength along with excellent corrosion resistance for high-temperature and aggressive chemical environments. They are used in industrial applications requiring durability and toughness.
Stainless Steel 317 Cold Rolled Sheet and Plates provide a smooth surface finish and precise dimensions, suitable for any applications in chemical, marine, pharmaceutical industries with high requirements of superior corrosion resistance and aesthetic quality.
Stainless Steel 317 Chequered Sheet and Plates are used in slip-resistant and long-lasting applications like flooring and stair treads. They are excellent corrosion-resistant materials, which can be used for both industrial and decorative purposes.
Stainless Steel 317 Perforated Sheet and Plates are used for filtration, ventilation, and architecture. It incorporates strength with the corrosion resistance capabilities of the plates along with useful perforations; hence, ideal for custom design and structural purposes in aggressive applications.
Stainless Steel 317 Shim Sheet and Plates are deployed for precision spacing and alignment within machinery and equipment. It shows high strength as well as resistant to corrosion features, thus sustaining stability and endurance in critical operations.
Stainless Steel 317 Polished Sheet and Plates have a very high-quality, reflective finish which is suitable for decorative and architectural applications. These have excellent corrosion resistance and are used in the environments where the appearance and durability are key requirements.
SS 317 sheets and plates are used in chemical process tanks, condensers, pulp and paper processing, food processing, and marine applications that require high corrosion resistance. They are particularly effective in acidic and chloride-rich environments that can cause pitting and crevice corrosion in lower grades. Fabricated into storage vessels, pressure tanks, reactor linings, and pipelines, these sheets are also used in flue gas scrubbers, equipment for pharmaceuticals, and offshore structures. The combination of formability and resistance to corrosive attack makes SS 317 suitable for various welded, formed, or machined components.
