Stainless Steel 348H Sheets and Plates are manufactured from high-carbon austenitic stainless steel, which contains around 18–20% chromium, 8–10% nickel, and 0.8–1.2% carbon, stabilized with niobium to avoid carbide precipitation. These characteristics offer superior intergranular corrosion resistance, good oxidation resistance, and high temperature structural strength. Mechanical properties are high tensile strength and yield strength, better creep strength, and favorable weldability.
