Manufacturers in Dubai and India provide Stainless Steel 317/317L forged fittings designed for applications that need high strength and corrosion resistance. These austenitic stainless steel grades have higher molybdenum content for better performance in harsh chemical and chloride-rich environments. Forged into tees, elbows, unions, and couplings, these fittings are made to ASTM A182 standards and are suitable for high-pressure piping systems. The low-carbon variant, 317L, offers improved weldability and resistance to intergranular corrosion. These fittings are widely used in petrochemical, marine, pulp and paper, and food industries where reliable sealing and long service life are vital.
SS 317/317L includes 18 to 20% chromium, 11 to 15% nickel, and 3 to 4% molybdenum. The carbon content is at or below 0.08% in 317 and 0.03% in 317L. Their tensile strength ranges from 485 to 620 MPa, with yield strength around 170 to 205 MPa, and elongation of approximately 35%. These alloys show excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in environments containing chlorides. 317L is especially suitable for welded applications where carbide precipitation could affect corrosion resistance. Their strong mechanical properties and corrosion protection make them ideal for high-pressure and corrosive settings.

Stainless Steel 317 Socket Weld Fittings are renowned for their excellent corrosion resistance and are commonly used in high-pressure applications. They are available in sizes ranging from 1/8″ to 4″ and are manufactured to meet ASTM standards, ensuring strong, leak-proof connections.
Offering high corrosion resistance, these fittings are designed for easy installation in various piping systems. Common sizes range from 1/8″ to 6″ NPT, providing versatility and robustness in handling fluids and gases.
With superior corrosion resistance, this elbow allows for smooth directional changes in piping systems. It is available in sizes from 1/2″ to 4″ and is designed to meet ASTM specifications for high strength and durability.
This fitting combines high corrosion resistance with structural integrity, ideal for branching pipes at a 90-degree angle. Available in sizes from 1/8″ to 6″ NPT, it ensures reliable and secure connections.
Known for its excellent corrosion resistance, this half coupling connects two threaded pipes or fittings. Common sizes include 1/4″ to 4″ NPT, providing a strong and durable link.
This cross-fitting offers exceptional corrosion resistance, enabling the intersection of four pipes. Sizes typically range from 1/2″ to 4″, adhering to ASTM standards for robustness and reliability in high-pressure applications.
SS 317/317L forged fittings are commonly found in piping systems in chemical processing, oil and gas, marine, and water treatment industries. They are well-suited for high-pressure situations where resistance to chlorides and acidic solutions is crucial, such as acid production, scrubber systems, bleaching plants, and marine discharge systems. These fittings create leak-proof connections for corrosive media, offering superior performance in systems that handle sulfides, halides, and organic acids. 317L variants are preferred in welded setups that need to maintain corrosion resistance without post-weld heat treatment. Their strength and reliability make them a top choice for demanding environments.
