Stainless Steel 304H forged fittings are produced in Dubai and India for high-temperature, high-pressure applications with greater strength and corrosion resistance. SS 304H is the high-carbon variant of general 304 stainless steel and offers greater mechanical strength and creep resistance at high temperatures. All these forged fittings—elbows, tees, couplings, unions, and plugs—are made as per ASTM A182 standards and can be found in socket weld and threaded forms. Best suited for power generation, petrochemical, and thermal processing applications, SS 304H forged fittings provide assured, leak-tight performance in aggressive service conditions.
SS 304H contains 18–20% chromium, 8–11% nickel, and higher carbon content of 0.04–0.10%. It provides tensile strength 520–720 MPa and yield strength of approximately 210 MPa, while elongation is approximately 35%. Higher carbon content provides increased strength and creep resistance at elevated temperatures. It also possesses very good oxidation resistance in air and gentle atmospheres. SS 304H forged fittings have a wide temperature range retention of ductility and toughness, and they are free to weld and shape for industrial purposes.
