Stainless Steel 316 bolts are made in Dubai and India to be used in corrosive and high-pressure conditions. SS 316 is a molybdenum containing austenitic stainless steel alloy, which provides it a high level of resistance against chlorides, acids, and sea atmospheres. These bolts are widely utilized in oil & gas, marine, chemical, and pharmaceutical sectors where structural integrity and long-term corrosion protection are essential. SS 316 bolts are produced under ASTM A193 and A320 specifications, with complete mechanical certification, and come in hex, carriage, socket, and special head configurations. They provide better fastening solutions for mechanical and process use.
SS 316 has 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and ≤0.08% carbon. It exhibits tensile strength of 515–620 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of about 35%. The molybdenum enhances resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and acidic conditions. SS 316 retains structural strength in up to 870°C temperatures and is non-magnetic when annealed. These bolts provide consistent mechanical performance and resistance to corrosion under stress and are appropriate for wet, salty, or chemically hostile environments.
