Designed from SS 316L, Dairy Spray Balls comprise 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum for improved corrosion and pitting resistance. They have tensile strength in the range of 500–700 MPa and superior acid and cleaning chemical resistance. The corrosion resistant, highly polished surface has minimal contamination with easy cleaning under pressure. The construction can withstand high temperatures and frequent cleaning cycles, thus also present in critical process environments.
