TC Liners are made from stainless steel grades such as 304 and 316L, containing 18–20% chromium and 8–12% nickel, with the addition of molybdenum in 316L. They provide 500–750 MPa tensile strength, 200–300 MPa yield strength, and high elongation. The liners are engineered for their high corrosion resistance, satin surface finish, and ease of cleaning. Their precision fit minimizes dead space, hence reducing microbial growth, and provides hygienic fluid transfer in critical applications.
TC Liners are primarily a mixture of cobalt (Co) matrix that contains tungsten carbide (WC) particles. The presence of these tungsten carbide particles gives a very hard composition with excellent hardness, wear, and durability properties. It can withstand high abrasive, impact, and corrosion-resistant properties, thereby making it fit for use in mining and drilling applications. Among the benefits offered by TC liners are extended life, low maintenance costs, and superior performance. They are necessary for the longevity and efficiency of equipment due to their durability in severe wear conditions.
