Processed from SS 304 or 316L, Dairy Tees contain chromium (18–20%) and nickel (8–12%) to provide superior corrosion resistance. SS 316L contains molybdenum for superior pitting resistance. They provide tensile strength in the range of 500–700 MPa and yield strength in the range of 200–300 MPa. Sanitary-grade finishing provides smooth inner surfaces, reducing fluid turbulence and contamination. They are highly formable, easily weldable, and have high mechanical endurance to be used in CIP/SIP processes in hygienic operations.
