Stainless Steel 304/304L angles are made in Delhiand India to support structural, fabrication, and framing applications that need corrosion resistance and high strength. Available in equal and unequal leg dimensions, these angles follow ASTM A276 and A484 standards. SS 304 offers strong mechanical performance and corrosion resistance, while SS 304L enhances weldability and provides stress relief. Suitable for marine, construction, automotive, and chemical environments, these stainless angles ensure durability in both indoor and outdoor installations. They are easy to fabricate, install, and maintain, making them a dependable choice for industrial frameworks.
SS 304/304L includes 18–20% chromium, 8–12% nickel, and carbon levels of ≤0.08% (304) and ≤0.03% (304L). These stainless steel angles provide a tensile strength of 485–620 MPa, yield strength of 170–210 MPa, and elongation of about 35%. The 304L grade minimizes carbide precipitation during welding, enhancing corrosion resistance in heat-affected areas. Both variants exhibit excellent ductility, weldability, and toughness. These angles resist oxidation, atmospheric corrosion, and mild chemical exposure, making them suitable for general structural and load-bearing applications.
