Stainless Steel 316H Stud Bolts are an alloy containing about 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, and 2-3% molybdenum with a small percentage of carbon in the range of 0.04 to 0.10%. They have an excellent resistance to corrosion, especially in chloride environments. The tensile strength is high and they show exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and high-temperature oxidation, and that can be suitable for marine, chemical, and high-temperature service. Their high durability along with resistance against stress corrosion cracking makes such alloys optimal for work in such difficult environments and simplifies their operation.
