Harshita Stainless, a prominent manufacturer and supplier located in Delhi, India, specializes in top-quality welding consumables, including the highly regarded AWS Class E347-16 Electrodes. These electrodes are known for their stable arc, exceptional weld quality, and impressive corrosion resistance. They’re specifically crafted for welding stabilized austenitic stainless steels like 321 and 347, where it’s crucial to resist intergranular corrosion and handle high-temperature conditions. Harshita Stainless guarantees that each electrode adheres to strict quality standards, ensuring reliable performance and mechanical strength. Perfect for critical applications in industries such as chemical, petrochemical, food processing, and power generation, E347-16 electrodes excel at joining components that face thermal cycling and corrosive environments.
AWS Class E347-16 Electrodes typically consist of 18–21% Chromium, 9–11% Nickel, and Columbium (Niobium) to prevent carbide precipitation during welding. This composition significantly boosts resistance to intergranular corrosion in high-temperature scenarios. The weld metal produced usually achieves a tensile strength of around 570 MPa, a yield strength of about 380 MPa, and an elongation of 30%. With a rutile coating, these electrodes provide a smooth arc, minimal spatter, and easy slag removal. They’re compatible with both AC and DC+ and can be used in all welding positions, resulting in clean, crack-resistant welds that offer excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance.

These electrodes offer exceptional corrosion resistance, particularly against intergranular corrosion. Typically available in diameters of 1/16″ to 1/8″ (1.6 mm to 3.2 mm), they provide a lighter coating, facilitating easier welding with smooth, clean welds and minimal spatter.
Known for high corrosion resistance, especially in harsh environments, these electrodes come in diameters of 1/8″ to 5/32″ (3.2 mm to 4.0 mm). The heavy coating enhances arc stability and provides a thicker slag layer, offering better protection and ease of removal for cleaner welds.
These electrodes deliver superior corrosion resistance and are ideal for high-temperature applications. Typically available in diameters of 3/32″ to 1/8″ (2.4 mm to 3.2 mm), they are designed for shielded arc welding, ensuring stable arcs and good weld integrity in challenging conditions.
We guarantee complete transparency and top-notch quality assurance for our AWS Class E347-16 Electrodes. All orders are accompanied by necessary documents such as a commercial invoice, packing list, fumigation certificate, heat treatment chart, and an NABL-approved lab test report. We also provide a Material Test Certificate as per EN 10204/3.1b, PMI Test Certificate, 100% radiography test report, and Third-Party Inspection Certificate. Our documentation is very well arranged to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
They are mainly used to weld stainless steel structures that would require high intergranular resistance, such as in hot temperatures or corrosive environments. Welding 18-8 chromium-nickel stainless steels, and their derivative, these AWS Class E347-16 electrodes provide excellent weldability and resistance to stress. Common applications include the aerospace, chemical, petrochemical and food processing industries, as well as in power generation and heavy-duty machinery, where superior corrosion resistance and high-temperature performance are essential.
