Stainless Steel 253MA Sheets and Plates are high-temperature austenitic stainless steel alloys with minor additions of nitrogen and rare earth metals, as well as roughly 20–22% chromium, 10–12% nickel, and 1.4–2.2% silicon. This composition increases structural stability and oxidation resistance up to 1150°C. 253MA has good creep resistance, a yield strength of roughly 310 MPa, and a tensile strength of 600–800 MPa. Under thermal cycling, carburising, and sulfur-containing conditions, the alloy retains its mechanical integrity.
