904L Stainless Steel is a 19–23% chromium, 23–28% nickel, and 4–5% molybdenum low-carbon, high-alloy austenitic stainless steel with 1–2% copper content. The components possess excellent corrosion resistance, especially against reducing acids. The fittings provide tensile strength of approximately 490 MPa, yield strength of 220 MPa, and elongation of 35%. The forged shape ensures improved strength and leak-free connections. 904L also retains its mechanical stability at elevated temperatures and has excellent formability and weldability.
